Let's take a comparative look at different piano courses and the way they differ or are similiar.

Private lessons- in general, it's the best way to go- but are very expensive, take a tremendous amount of discipline, not to mention time, effort and expense to get to the lesson. But a really good pop piano teacher is usually going to guide you over a series of months and possibly years.

What about other piano courses on video? In a nutshell, the beginner ones run the gamut from incredibly simplistic to adequate but showing you only a fraction of the skills you need to have right away at the novice level.

Question: How about beginner play-by-ear piano courses?

Answer: A great skill to have even at the beginning but NO WAY DO I RECOMMEND YOU SOLELY LEARN TO PLAY THAT WAY IN THE BEGINNING! I've been playing for a very long time time, had world-class teachers and I still utilize other techniques in addition to play-by-ear. These techniques are taught in my course that will enable you to play utilizing professional, tried-and-true methods.

Advanced tapes, well.... it's just that! You have to be advanced to begin with. Most of them do their job fine.

What about my course? The "Play piano like a Pro" course featured here is in my opinion, the most thorough, affordable and yet still incredibly fun way to go.

For those of you still wanting private lessons- Perfect! It means when you eventually get a good teacher, it means you'll have a tremendous pianistic background under your belt and you'll surprise your teacher how much you've accomplished! But if you start out with lessons without my course or a course giving you a real solid background?

Well, statistics over years and years show that the majority of beginning piano students are overwhelmed and quit in a short time- Thing is, if you have my course first, and you're already having fun and progressing at your own pace and seeing great results, you'll last and progress way better should you decide to pursue private study .

But what about right now? Well, with the "Play Piano like a Pro" DVD course, you're

-Having so much fun right away!

-Learning the professional way to play right from square one!

-You're playing your favorite songs right away! From my own experience, when I was taught that way...WOW!!! It couldn't be any more fun to be able to start learning YOUR favorite songs, not mine, not your teacher's or some author's selected songs, but the ones you have always wanted to play and/or are currently on the radio right now!
